winter in toronto.

Processed with VSCOcam with t1 presetThis is my fifth winter spent in Toronto, and just when I thought I had a grasp on how to "do" winter out here, this year hit us with a whole new level of cold. Here are some behind the scenes pictures from the last few weeks: Processed with VSCOcam with t1 presetProcessed with VSCOcam with t1 presetSince moving to a house that not only doesn't have laundry but is particularly far from a laundromat, I tend to leave laundry until it's at a very dire state (sometimes I even just hand wash most things in my bathtub. Who knew it would come to this?). Monday was one of those desperate days where something needed to be done, so read some Atwood while I waited for my sheets and towels to dry.

I am really missing BC's mild winters these days, especially when I see pictures of friends and relatives out and about in cute boots and just a sweater, no parka, no toque, no mittens, no giant scarf that covers all of their face. I hope everyone is staying cozy and dry!
