I came across your letters again, back from when we were enamoured with each other and you would write me letters but now we are not and you do not. Where do those people who we used to be go, now that we have moved on and did the necessary steps to absolve our love?

I like to think they never saw the obstacles like we did and that they are happy like we thought we would be, that they have an orange tree like we said we would and that they finally made it to New York, debating over where to go for lunch.
