Take note that, in order for a seed to grow, you must first put it in the ground, bury it as if it were the coffin of your most beloved, cover it with the soil that we return to and grow out of, hide it away in the cold, black dirt, and let it run its own course, and hope [pray. on your knees, in groans and bellowing sobs] that it will take strong root and sprout into the tallest of trees, into the meadow of flowers, into the sweetest of fruit.
